Amid today’s ongoing humanitarian crisis at the border, deportations to other countries without due process, it’s hard not to recall the moment in 2018 when Melania Trump visited a detention center holding migrant children—wearing a jacket that read, “I Really Don’t Care. Do U?” At the time, people were rightly stunned. We're still ANGRY!
The message on her back was widely seen as a chilling reflection of indifference toward the suffering of children torn from their families by the Trump regime. This image remains a disturbing symbol of apathy at the highest levels of power.
Being Liberal has made our own version. It's much better. Much kinder. More human.
